Attar Bhairav is dedicated to Baba Kaal Bhairav-the Raudra (Fierce) Roop of Mahadev-who is also revered as the Kotwal of Kashi (Protector of Kashi). It draws its inspiration from the Swayambhu Baba Masaannath Temple at Manikarnika Ghat.
It embodies the energy of the late-evening Aarti performed at Baba Masaannath Temple, where, alongside offerings of sweets, flowers, fragrance, and diyas, alcohol purified through mantras is offered to Shivji.
This fragrance captures the essence of all these offerings in an olfactory experience-floral, sweet, incensey, boozy, dry, ashy, and woody-crafted into an oil that transports the wearer into a deep meditative state while bringing an instant smile to their face.
Sarthak Kumar (Sugandhsaar) and Vinamra Gundhi, the eighth generation at Gulabsingh Johrimal, have collaborated to bring you an experience of deep meditation-a fragrance that pushes the boundaries of natural perfumery without the use of animalics or heavy fixatives.
The fragrance is raw yet remarkably smooth; fierce, yet calming; soothing, yet capable of pushing your limits. It is not for the masses, but for those who wish to experience storytelling through perfume.
After Attar Kashi and Attar Varanasi, Attar Bhairav finds its roots in the city beloved by Mahadev, Maa Parvati, and their devotees. The trio, as Sarthak likes to call it, is a Fragrant Trident.
Attar Varanasi takes inspiration from the mornings on the ghats of Varanasi and Satvik Poojan. Attar Kashi draws its inspiration from Gangaji's evening Aarti and Rajsik Poojan. Attar Bhairav draws inspiration from the nights on the ghats of Banaras and from Tamsik Poojan.
The final release of Sarthak Kumar, aka Sugandhsaar's dream project-#ProjeKt221001, where 221001 represents the PIN code of Kashi Vishwanathji in Varanasi. In contrast, the replacement of the letter 'C' in *Project* with 'K' signifies Vishwanathji's presence throughout all three blends.
