Royal Mysuru from the heritage house Gulabsingh Johrimal
A soft uplifting with a pinch of spices, some floral and lots and lots of woody elements in the background along with some incense! That's Royal Mysuru….
Opening with a clean, fresh lightly toasted spices like fenugreek, cinnamon, cumin, carom seeds and a lot more, it gives me a soothing aroma which stole my heart the first time I tried it!
In the heart, one finds white florals with some powdery musky element.
But it's the base of this fragrance which adds a soothing, serene and meditative touch to it. A creamy woody sandalwood, some benzoin in the background and subtle, yet powerful enough to mark its presence, oudh.
The trio gives this oil a calming vibe. One of the rare moments when a mixed media attar (yes it has a very small quantity of natural material) provides that comfort and calmness needed after a long day!
This oil was love at first sniff for me (a very rare moment cz I like attars on first sniff but love, that's too much????) so much so that I'm done with almost half bottle of this in 10 days!
Overall, a very warm and cozy oil, which has some elements of freshness too, perfect for anytime except harsh summers. One can definitely layer Ruh Khus which I believe will make this great in those days too!
Something for days when you wear traditional outfits, sit for a pooja or just relax at night with some good music and a book!
